ADI Leak Detection
ADI Leak Detection is a leak detection company based in Yorkshire and specialised in finding hidden underground/ underfloor water leaks using non-invasive technology. Founded by Adrian Morgan, they specialise in pinpointing the exact leak location and repairing them as soon as possible.
During their investigations,ADI Leak Detection use some of the most cutting edge leak detection equipment available in the market, such as thermal imaging cameras and acoustic leak detectors. This will ensure they can find the exact location of your water leak, as well as locating the cause of the problem.
They also offer a range of other services to help their customers solve their water leak problems. They can carry out a full plumbing survey, and if required they are experienced in working with all types of swimming pool and spa equipment.
How ADI Leak Detection Technology is Revolutionizing the Plumbing Industry
The leak is then detected by a sensor that sends out a laser beam pulse and measures the time delay between when it is emitted and when it reflects back from the pipeline. If there is a change in the reflection (vibrations from the substance leaking through the pipe), then the leak is detected and an alarm notification is generated.
This method has a high sensitivity to leaks during steady-state and transient conditions, and false alarms are avoided with statistical methods. However, it may not be suitable to detect an ongoing leak after the initial event.
Pipeline flyovers are frequently carried out to identify small releases that cannot be located by other methods, and may be used to quickly confirm a release location before deploying additional leak-detection equipment. They are not typically recommended as a primary leak-detection method and should be reserved for special situations.
